The Castro Street Fair is an annual community celebration in San Francisco, taking place on the first Sunday in October.
The fair was founded by gay rights activist and politician Harvey Milk in 1974.
Hundreds of LGBT local artists, vendors, craftspeople, and organisations line the streets and celebrate the diversity of the neighbourhood.
The Castro Street Fair is completely non-profit, with all proceeds going towards causes affecting Castro residents.
