This may be referred to as a budget hotel but it offers a first class service and it is excellent value for money. It is basic, but it is clean and comfortable and has all the amenities you will need for basic requirements, there is a friendly and excellent 24 hour front desk service, and security. The rooms are comfortable and clean with free wi-fi and flat screen television with multiple television channels in different languages including news channels in English. The rooms are cleaned every day and the bedding changed and towels changed, with basic toiletry needs provided. Air conditioning is good and breakfast is provided. I have seen some unnecessary comments about breakfast which is provided between 7am and 9am, the hotel does not have a restaurant as such but breakfast is provided by a dedicated staff and is plenty and ample for any ones needs to start the day, rice cooked in coconut milk with vegetables is always provided along with well prepared Indonesian liquid side dishes, bread is ample with a choice of spreads and a toaster is there for your use if that is your preferred breakfast or you can help yourself to something of each, if time is running late staff are always at hand to assist if you need bread and it appears to have run out, obviously if you get there early your choice will not be limited. Arrive late and the lack of choice is down to you. coffee and tea is available at all times 24/7 and is provided free of charge and bottled water is always provided free of charge and left in your room each day. The hotel is close to the city centre and in walking distance of all amenities and there is a laundry nearby and a local store with a cash machine which will not charge you with excessive charges if you need cash. There are street sellers outside as well, and if you want to try good tasty and local Indonesian food they will prepare you excellent food at incredible prices. I had some wonderful meals and it was no more than £1 sterling for two of us. you cannot beat that anywhere in the world. The local people are charming and helpful and if you respond and are nice to them they will be nice to you as well. I loved this hotel and stayed with a friend, be discreet and discretion is assured. I loved my stay in this hotel we were made very welcome and I look forward to staying again in the future, it felt like home from home and I would gladly return again and again. I cannot recommend it highly enough. It was my first visit to Indonesia and Jakarta and I truly fell in love with the country and its people.
