The Beat MegaClub

I attended The Beat on a Saturday night and it was my least favorite gay clubbing experience. I stood at the bar for a good 15 minutes while the bar staff served everyone around me, even people that had just walked up and stood right next to me up until someone pointed out that I was before them (bless their heart), the bar staff was immediatley rude to me when I asked for my drinks, and acted like it was a huge burden on him. When I arrived on the dancefloor, the music was good and the vibe was great for about 10 minutes until getting harassed and when politely declining their advances, gropped by several men before calling it quits. Guys would grab me and tap my ass while walking past me which was quite disturbing seeing as it should be a safe sanctuary for the lgbt+ community but I did not feel safe at all.

Great Night Club, Great DJs, friendly crowd. I loved the outside smoking areas, Hot Boys, A stones throw from Club 29 where you can take your trade to without being noticed. I will defiantly be back.

Enjoyed The Beat so much that I had to visit twice during a recent holiday there. Awesome music, gorgeous guys and fun, up-Beat atmosphere ;)

The Beat Megaclub is one of the best gay dance clubs in Australia! Great music, lots of space and affordable drinks deals. Plenty of cute guys hanging around on a weekend. I'd recommend at least one trip here if you're staying in the city centre - I went twice and had fun both times! ;)

A great fun night, very gay friendly place, cheap drink prices and great DJs. Open til very late for a good night out, Yana Michell was fantastic! Great shows .
