QUEENS & Tom's Welt

Visited recently. Midweek night and it was very quite. I get the impression that Bremen's gay scene is conservative. Not much likelihood of a younger guy getting hooked up with an older guy.

Bremen is not a special city to go out gay. Bremen is certainly the most provincial big city in Germany. Of the LGBT shops, Queens is still by far the best bar. I've been there a few times before, when travelling to Bremen. But since Nino is no longer there and Tom often doesn't feel like it, the new staff behind the counter is completely out of the question, boring and, in my opinion, totally inappropriate. A pity. A shop like Queens lives from personality, which the new barman doesn't have.
