Shogun has two floors but you gotta walk up to the first floor entrance. 1st floor is a locker room, sauna, dark maze and showers. 2nd floor has dark rooms and an outside area. Went on a Friday night around 11pm. Pretty busy crowd. Mostly uncles and daddies in the 50-60s range. Balding, overweight or just unattractive. As a 30 something, I'm no spring chicken but being moderately fit and young made me a prize I guess. Immediately had a couple uncles try to talk to me as I changed in the locker area. Went to the sauna to decompress then had a quick shower to cool down. I was observing locktober so had my pink cage on which garnered some attention from a lurking uncle as I showered. Ignored him and decided to wear a towel to the 2nd floor maze. While I wanted to parade my cage and show guys I was a willing bottom, just didn't feel like the right group. Maze was very dark as I walked around - was being stalked by a couple guys but wasn't interested. Saw a couple guys at it on a raised communal bed. Watched them for a bit then tried to go into the room which was allegedly a glory hole room. But couldn't make it out. Decided to be bolder and went back to my locker and kept my towel. Now nude I went to the 3rd floor dark rooms - seemed occupied so I walked the outside area. Saw a couple guys at it on an outdoor bed with a few uncles watching and jerking off. Had one guy follow me but once again too fat and gross for me. Most of the clientele are just not my type. In the end, left without having any fun.

Shower room too small and not well-maintained because of 24-hour service. No papers and lubricant in the room - ask for one more condom and you have to pay, instead of free.

24hours sauna it good for us. You can stay untill the morning. Fee SG12 good value. A best time Saturday weekend and try untill morning. But many uncles here. Have fun

The idea of a 24-hour sauna is great! But that's probably all that's great about this place. It was my first time here last Friday, and it'll almost definitely be my last! Not my crowd nor place. Furthermore, the chap at the counter said 80 pax inside. And he confirmed 80, although he probably meant 18!

I saw some reviews and made my way to review. This is a 24hr sauna. Definitely Shogun is very well-maintained, compared to many years I went that other place. It's very mixed crowd - not much to expect. Yes, more mature crowd. but they need a place to go.. We all grow old, too. lol Everyone is friendly, for sure. Be sure to visit the maze, open space and so on. Toilet, floor was clean, has good basic needs. A decent bed & breakfast place.

Floor and everything are clean. So many horny people. A mixed crowd - choice for everyone. For glory hole lovers come here: you be feasting non-stop.

Indeed it's a more mature audience. Definitely there are good people too - won't see arrogance here - all friendly. There is an interesting mix of minorities of caucasian, tourists, toned boys and others. Being a 24hrs sauna isn't an easy task. Definitely, they must be applauded for maintaining the premises up to this standard. My suggestion would like to see in future: 1. Repaint the whole sauna so it will look bright and fresh. 2. Improve the facility by having an outdoor jacuzzi. 3. Add woofers n speakers in TV room -perhaps change to the projector. 4. Automatic air spray - eg lemongrass. Improvement seen 1. Change of team members. 2. Cleaning is done more frequently. 3. Better music. Everyone may have an opinion but I think the crowd is friendly. Best part: Hungry tops n bottoms waiting in the maze. There are many drinks to buys and cup noodles. 7-eleven is 2 mins away too.

On tuesday 10pm lot of people mature ages; too dark private area; area for shower are narrow and dirty; difficulties to find somebody interested in "business"!! really don't go there. I haven't had time to test the other sauna in Sg;may be better?

Too many smokers and ended too smoking. All the areas got 2nd hand smoking smells.

Out of the three saunas I visited in Singapore, Keybox, TMC and this one, I would say that clientele of Shogun are overall of the most mature vintage and out of shape. Does not mean there are no cuties, or that one cannot have fun, but certainly if you are into uncles/grandpas, then this is probably the place. At least they are still able to climb the one long flight of stairs to get there! I love the shower area of the main locker level, three shower heads and "private". The steam room is on the small side and reasonably dark. The main level cruising area/cubicles are too dark for my liking, so I end up having to loiter in the more brightly lit areas. There is an upstairs cruise area/open mattress/ plus outdoor area too (with TV), which I quite enjoy (the outdoor area). But sadly, on a Friday evening, this whole upstairs area fairly deserted.

It's actually on Trengganu street than Pagoda, second house next to the corner shop whose door you'll see SHOGUN sticker posted on. On the first floor there are locker areas, a small tv room, small shower and bath areas that are able to take 2-3 people at a time. The place was also full of really mature men, more grandpas than uncles, and some chubs, but they're not the type to waste time and are generally respectful to you.

If you are not a Twink, or model for Dolce and Gabbana, or go to the gym 2x a day: this is the place for you! They'll love you for what you are: just go and enjoy yourself!

Certainly a place for the older (30+) amongst us, but that's exactly what I was looking for. Had a great time, enjoyed the visit and I will definitely be back soon

I went to spa today.. and I don't really enjoy what i paid for.. imagine the smell is not good.. and some of the customer are so old.. cant imagine no young men.. i wasted my money then i stayed there for about a 20 minutes then out..

I often go to Shogun and I am very happy with the service. Not only that it truly feels like a man heaven there as there 2 storeys to check out cute guys and hey some older guys contrary to what others may think perform better, have manners and are so fun to be with. To all the gay people out there, don't believe the negative feedback about Shogun. Come and see it for yourself. Every guy there experiences different experiences, and most guys by morning wake up with smiles on their faces after a hot night of fun, fun, fun. I love Shogun and it truly feels like a home for me where I can truly be myself. Truly Shogun is a sanctuary for us plu people.

Went there last night out of curiosity. Its an old old place with 99% of the clients totally out of shape. But i conected with a guy who looked like a pirate out of a movie. Goodlooking, good body and excellent everything. So i was lucky. But honestly i will not go there again.

Better n improved cleanliness like 100x better than before More frequent cleaning. Feels more fresher n cleaner. Bad reviews before must be reviewed. New team of friendly workers Need more fit better!

Staff are damn unfriendly. Never say yes to any request you asked. They will said the boss said no but the boss will said they dont know. What service is this?

Shogun used to be a very nice place. Customer friendly and nice but now no longer. Alot of irritating and unfriendly people. Even the staff are so unapprochable. Not worth going and be prepare those people might spoilt your mood.

Terrible Sunday only desperate bottoms from 7 - 12 after that only Asian senior citizens sleeping in every room, there is a young Chinese at the reception with a terrible attitude, the only positive thing that I saw was a cleaner taking care of the mess continuously But never come back - si eres Latino busca otro sitio aqui no es

Nothing great n fun.Tv room on weekend only show aft 10.30pm eo in bw u get sick walk here n there n no place 2 pass yr time Compared to the nearest 10man sauna which is much more clean n happening even if abit more expensive by 2$ to 3$ only.

Been here last night, overall all are Indian and bear type. Age range almost all 40 and above. Place is quite dirty and smelly.

Staff were fine. Located in Chinatown in a busy night market area. When I went on a Thursday night around 10pm 20 odd guys. All bear chub and over 30 most over 45 in fact. Was ok as a foreigner but it's a little dark and a little dirty for me.

Was there on a friday night in february.... FANTASTIC TIME...lot of action. Much better then 2015... action on every floor and people/reception friendly. Will go back when I am in Singapore.

Shogun has changed, they've renovated the steam room, and others. I like the room with big bed, where there is dim light (you can see what happens). I was lying there are waiting to get lucky. I met 3 different men in two hours. Great experience.

Not clean. I entered around 2am on a Friday morning. The staff are rude and not welcoming. Mainly chub and Indian crowds. Most sleeping and watching tv!! Doth bother unless really desperate.....I did not have any fun for the $12 I paid. Bad bad experience !

I feel good when i enter the sauna. Weekend will be crowd. Young, hunk, sexy uncle, 30+, hot chinese daddy. I recommend this place for foreigner. Very friendly sauna I ever came. You don't need to be a member and waste ur bucks. Just come weekend and lets fun! Really

This is one of the ugliest and uninteresting gay-saunas I ever visited. Maybe even one of the dirtiest, but it was too dark to discover this. Waste of time and money.

The place is quite dark on the lower level. Steam room is small. A lot of uncles and fairly small younger crowd. There is a nice rooftop relax area.

It's a experience, but it's up for you to find out...if you are up for fun with bears and uncles. Then this is your place - thank you for the experience

Classy? Oh please. Chances of finding hot guys? Try 4d instead. Just a 10 to 15 mins fun and go? Why not. Facilities? Well rounded, with a lack on maintenance aspect. Ambiance? Shit. Cleanliness? My room is so much cleaner. Neat place? Not too bad. Value for money? Definitely - 12 bucks for 12 hours stay. Visit again? For most, the most twice. For me, I just f and go. Total overall? 54 marks out of 100. Conclusion? Desperate then go alright. Have some standard at times will be good for your soul . :)

An interesting place due to the diverse crowds and wide age groups. Price is affordable at 12 SGD. Overall design of club is classy, 2-storey high, with enough rooms to explore and keep the anticipation high. The sauna has a low-profile presence with a deep and narrow back end. Shower areas are scattered, which can be confusing for new customers who would queue up and wait. However, the advantage of the waiting areas allows lot of interactions and activities other than showering! Shower areas are lit up with blue and pink glow light whenever you press for water which adds to the excitement in the dark. The staff are efficient. The area in general is clean with staff occasionally tidying up the private rooms. Wet toilet floors are to be expected. The most popular area is probably the movie room which has big, comfortable "opium beds" where you can sit and watch movies all night. The balcony is divided into two areas, mainly seating area for local TV channel and non air-con sleeping areas. There are private rooms on both levels with different settings. Other than mattresses for sleeping, there are also rooms for cushion seating with glory hole connected with the adjacent room!! Overall rating at 80++. I would recommend Shogun if you are out to meet up with new guys or do a movie marathon. The money is well spent when you can sleep till the next morning or if you want to save on late transportation charge.

The staff at Shogun were very nice and welcoming, and there were plenty of guys (around 2am on a Saturday), but the private playrooms were so tiny and almost too dark. I accidentally stepped on two men who were sleeping, one of whom got very upset. I don't know if sleeping in the sauna is a common thing in Singapore, but from this experience I shall never return. It made me feel uncomfortable and took up valuable space. Also, I could not find the steam room, and there was no common video room to get you started.

I visited Shogun many times in the last 6 months and really like the staff and ambiance. The music is pumping too. The facilities are comfortable and decent size and most of the play areas are warm. Main complaint is that many of the clientele are either watching TV or snoring their heads off. It's mostly locals but they have always welcomed me as a foreigner.

I had fun at Shogun today and had fun with a hot Indian man. Reception and crowd seem friendly. Good value for money entrance fee.

As a visitor to Singapore I was hopeful Shogun would be a good experience. Wrong! Despite arriving at 11:15, the place was asleep; literally. While there may have been 15 or so guys, most of them were sacked out and uninterested. The advertised steam room was not to be found and the bathrooms smelled as if they were never cleaned. Just not an inviting feel. If you're looking for a place to play and meet a friend, this is not it.
