The Common Press

The Common Press is a not-for-profit LGBTQ+ bookshop, café and community hub with locations in Shoreditch and Dalston. Established in 2021, it's a space dedicated to queer literature, arts and culture, with a packed calendar of book launches, poetry nights, live music, drag performances and parties.

At its Dalston location, the bookshop and café transform into a Black, queer and trans-led bar from 6pm, Thursday to Saturday. With lilac interiors, shelves full of books and even a photobooth, it's a great spot to grab a drink, go on a date or catch up with friends.

Browse books with a cocktail in hand or head downstairs to the secret basement dance floor for some dancing and debauchery!
