The Underground Club

This place is a last remaining haunts for gay horny guys to drop in in the middle of the day and stay a while. Always action, always friendly. I’ve had some great nights in here, never fails to deliver. The staff are sooo nice an pd the drinks are super cheap for London. Cannot wait to go back!!

As I said- it's cheap and dirty - just the way it should be! no glamour, no pretentions just raw hardcore fun!!! I LOVE IT!

Went on a Monday for naked night. The good news is that it’s now got a sling in one of the cellar alcoves. Perfect place for it. This club has no pretensions. It’s small, dirty and fun.

Have been there a few times and had fun. Only complaint is not enough watching!

I love that this is place is cheap and easy to drop into in the middle of the day if you want some fun. Mostly older guys. Its a pokey, dingy place as described by others on here.

I’ve been going here for the best part of 10 years. It’s a dark and dirty cellar. There’s no showers and very few amenities. But if I wanted scented soap, I’d book in at a spar. This is a dark and dirty venue to get down and dirty, and that, it does splendidly. Always friendly always action, when you descend the steps you leave the normal world behind. Just check in your clothes, your modesty and your expectations and have fun. If they ever closed down, it will be a sad day.

Dirty place and if you like it dirty you will get it there, no shower or any private rooms , place stinks and very unhygienic, no comfortable chairs or resting area, very small and stuff are so rude.

Went on a Monday about 8 for “stripped” - their naked session. Yeah, it’s a bit worn out as previous people have said but it does everything a club should do - a cellar feel, a bar and fairly dark. Guys are older but know what they want. I enjoyed myself. I wish they’d put a sling in one of the cellar rooms - there is room for one. It would set it apart from the Vault too.

As an older guy, Have been to this club, several times before. I am booked to stay in hotel, above, for 5 nights, in April 2019. I will definitely be visiting the club again, during my stay. Don't expect luxury, but, if you want fun, you will get it here.

Grunge is one thing, worn out and uncared for is another. Just a room with alcoves where barrels were once kept, with the cheapest of materials hung from the ceiling in the center of the room to give a sensation of privacy. Been twice, average age of clientele 50 and looking as worn out as the venue. Good drinks, service is pleasant. Which I suppose is the bright point when you consider how inadequate gay venues are in London compared to other cities in Europe. This place is just one big turn-off.

Turned up on Friday at 22:30. Rang bell twice. No answer. Someone from Central Station said "don't think its open tonight". No notice on outside. So no opinion to give other than - closed.

I went for the last time last night (29th August 2017) I arrived around 5pm and it was pants only, a decent amount of guys, probably 20 or so that were chatting : cruising etc Nice atmosphere, the place however is small and pretty fun down. No provate space so it gets a bit heated at times. I stayed on for the piss night which I've never seen before but most people were cruising with some wet areas. It got busy after 6, and I left around 7 as it was getting a bit smelly for my liking The guys are usually a bit older, some in shape and some not. I however managed to have lots of fun in the2 hours and would definitely return! Great place if you want action but little else to offer

Have been here quite a few times last time I went was a couple of months ago, not many facilities at all! BUT if your going for action you will get action, I'm 23 and the older guys loved that.

I know that sleaze is exactly what some guys want but I did not enjoy the venue. The seating areas were uncomfortable and uninviting - pretty much plastic bar stools everywhere - not at all relaxing. The cruising area had no private spaces at all. NO sit down toilets - urinals only! This was apparently because of vandalism but management need to take responsibility and sort that out. When I was there it was not at all busy. Only about a dozen guys all afternoon. The whole place is very small so not that much to get excited about. You're in: you're out. For some reason I expected more from this famed venue. It needs a make-over - even a sleazy make over - but it needs to be a lot more welcoming, comfortable and exciting. I suspect there is no money for this. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
