The Loft is a trendy gay bar located in San Diego and was voted Best Gay Bar by Yelp in 2019. The crowd tends to lean on the older gay patrons, but everyone is welcome here! The staff are super friendly, too plus the drinks are great.

Happy hour is everyday, lasting until 6:30 pm.

The Chee Chee Club is a gay cocktail dive bar, located in the East Village area, just far enough off the main strip that the bar doesn’t get crowded. Locals love it and it's been a landmark San Diego gay bar since 1941. 

The drinks are cheap and they always have something going on, like showing 80s and 90s movies. It's dark, grungy, and has about a dozen microbrews on tap along with a huge liquor selection.
 

The Hole is considered the friendliest dive bar in San Diego, occupying a historic building dating back to 1924.

This old-school bar has great features such as beer pong, a pool table, karaoke and an outdoor patio. There is a Sunday Funday which includes a local food fare!
